University of Michigan Basketball team won over their rival Michigan State Spartans and it seems that they are now ready for the 2011 Big Ten Tournament 2011. Tim Hardaway Jr. Darius Morris and Evan Smotrycz were the heroes of tonight’s game leading Michigan to win with the score of 70-63.
SB Nation reported that Tim Hardaway Jr. scored at least 20 points to lead the team for the win. Evan Smotrycz also scored 14 points with Morris added 13 points and six assists. The victory finally gave University of Michigan since 1997 against Michigan State .
The win over Michigan State and they now have a ticket heading to the Big Ten Tournament 2011. Currently there is no official 2011 Big Ten Tournament schedule. As the tournament getting close it seems Ohio State is now the the apple of the eye and they were also the #1 team in the league.
University of Michigan suffered to big losses against the Kansas Jayhawks and Ohio State. The Big Ten tournament starts officially on March 10th and will end this Sunday, March 13th.
