India vs England: Sachin Tendulkar hits fifty

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar scored his 15th World Cup fifty in style. He hit Collingwood over the midwicket for six to reach the fifty. India was 141/1.

English pacer Tim Bresnan provided first break through to England as he dismissed Sehwag for 35 runs.

Indian skipper won the toss and elected to bat first against England in the Group B match of World Cup here at M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore on Sunday.

Dhoni has been playing with two seamers, two spinners and one part-timer in this match.

For England, injured Stuart Broad has been rested and Ajmal Shahzad is in. Ravi Bopara has paved way for spinner Michael Yardy.

One of the key battles of World Cup is being slated to be played between India and England.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Team India has been playing brilliant cricket for the last couple of years. Whereas England is one of the favourites team for this World Cup.

Both the teams have good players but spinners will be the key for victory here at bounce and turning track of Bangalore.

After World Cup Opener against Bangladesh, India has done plenty of net practice and team is looking to keep the momentum go against England.

As it is one of the crucial games of league stage, both the teams will play with full strength. England skipper has already made it clear that they will rely on their pace attack. English pacers have decided to test Indian batsmen with short pitch and bouncing deliveries.

Pitch report: The pitch will produce turn and bounce for spinners but it would be better to bat first as dew factor is negligible in Banglaore.
